__________________ IBM Connections Cloud and SmartCloud Notes Clients: __________________ IBM and HCL completed the transaction under which HCL acquired (https://www.hcltech.com/press-releases/press-releases-business/hcl-technologies-announces-close-acquisition-select-ibm) select IBM collaboration, commerce, digital experience, AppScan and BigFix products and solutions on June 30, 2019, including the Connections Cloud offerings. HCL announced End-of-Service (EOS) for Connections (https://hclpnpsupport.hcltech.com/csm?id=kb_article&sys_id=1736f5f31be2b788c1f9759d1e4bcbc3) effective, July 16, 2020. HCL will end service for all Connections Cloud part numbers and offerings inclusive of but not limited to Verse, SmartCloud Notes, Connections S1, Connections S2, Connections Social Cloud, Connections Engagement Center, Connections Chat, Connections Meetings, Dual Entitlement, and Domino Applications on Cloud. Existing Connections Cloud customers who are actively using the cloud/SaaS services will be able to renew or purchase additional quantity of existing subscriptions/entitlements through July 16, 2020. Extensions beyond July 16, 2020 will not be granted. Please plan for migration off Connections Cloud accordingly. IBM Connections Cloud Meetings Administrators, IBM will be updating the IP address assignment for our Meetings Service (stmeetings.na.collabserv.com) in the North American data center on October 20, 2019. If you have configured your firewall, filters, or other security devices to allow the IP ranges indicated in section 2 of the IBM Connections Cloud IP Address List, you will not need to make any changes. If your organization only allows access to the current IP address for Meetings (169.53.224.200) you will need to update your settings to include 169.53.34.175 on or after October 20, 2019. The IBM Connections Cloud team will be updating the SSL certificate for the hostnames listed below on or after October 23, 2019. While we do not anticipate any interruption to our services, clients who have certain custom integration or settings may need to update their configuration. Examples of these situation are: - Provisioning (add, change, or modify users) integration where your organization has hard-coded a copy of our SSL certificate into your process or integration. Note, we recommend avoiding this when possible, instead doing a live look up to validate the certificate. - If your organization has a security device or policy that requires a copy of the certificate If your organization has these or other customization and require a copy of the SSL certificate in advance, or if you have any questions about how certificate updates may impact your organization, please submit Online Case at https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm .
